Welcome

Welcome to West Lavington Farms. We are an organic farm using rare and native breeds of livestock, reared in the traditional, extensive way to produce outstanding animals both for breeding stock and for meat.

We are a family business and Patricia Holloway has owned the farm for the past 25 years, the family all help out with different parts of the business.

Learn a little about the different breeds we have on the farm; their history, population size and their life on our farm.

Read about our farm and why we farm the way we do. Also, learn a bit about what it’s like to farm on MOD Training Ground.

We work hard to encourage biodiversity on our farm. Take a look at what we do to help the environment and the local wildlife.

Village RBST Stables

We are committed to farming with native and endangered breeds on our farm. They have a huge advantage in that they are able to graze our less favourable grassland and control scrub. Find out more by going to;

We have a small DIY livery  yard in the village where horse owners have their own paddocks and can have access to the wonderful hacking on Salisbury Plain,
