OUR LIVESTOCK

We keep cattle for beef and sheep for lamb and mutton on the farm. We strongly believe in conserving rare breed animals and therefore look to keep native, primitive breeds.

Currently, we have two herds of cattle, White Park and Traditional Hereford. We have breeding flocks of Castlemilk Moorit, Manx Loaghtan, Llanwenog sheep.

Llanwenog come from West Wales. They have a thick white fleece and a characteristic white tuft above their head. They are well suited to harsh upland conditions but also make the most of richer lowland pastures. They are a versatile breed.
